The Third Floor Gallery is open to the public during regular library hours. The Young Arts Gallery is located on the first floor in the entryway to the Children’s Wing.

Current Exhibits

Award-winning artist Doris Mady exhibits her extensive portfolio of plein air oil paintings at Mahopac Public Library, Third Floor Gallery, November 3 through December 2, 2024, with the artist’s Opening Reception held on November 3, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Doris Mady has set up her easel in many wonderful locations across the US, South America, Europe, and the South Pacific. The theme of her exhibit is “…a few of my favorite things” featuring scenes from many of Dori’s favorite locales, still life images and captivating animal portraiture.

Upcoming Exhibits

Stop the car! From magnificent national parks and cityscapes to quaint country backroads, take a majestic photographic journey across the U.S.A. through breathtaking, large-scale images captured by artist, Alice Lynn. Includes images from 30 +years of amazing cross country roadtrips taken for both business and pleasure, including expansive panoramic views you’ve likely never seen before. Opening Reception, Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 2 to 4 pm.
