  • the Annual Friends Event
  • raffles
  • craft events

The Friends meet in the library at 1:00 PM on the first Wednesday of each month (unless otherwise noted).

Book Barn Drop-in Donation Day
On Saturday, April 20, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (rain date: Sunday, April 21, 1-4:30 p.m.) the Friends of the Library invite you to donate your gently used books at the Library’s Adult Garden. No appointment will be required. At all other times, donations must be scheduled by calling 845-628-2009 x143.

On January 22, 2021, Representatives from the PCSB Bank in Yorktown Heights generously donated $1,500 to the Friends of MPL to be used toward the Teen Library Council and Outreach Program and to the Teen Summer Reading Program.
