Key Budget Points for Fiscal Year 2020-2021

  • The Library budget is flat, with a 0% increase, and it remains under the tax cap.
  • The FY21 budget reflects anticipated decreased spending in Building Contracts, Computer Maintenance, and Library Materials, while maintaining a diversity of programming, technology, and virtual resources for all ages.
  • There is no increase projected in the Personnel line item in FY 2020-2021.
  • The increase in the Building Repairs and Maintenance budget line is attributed to upgrades and repairs to heating and air conditioning units within our 15-year-old facility.
