Gallery, 3rd floor

June 29 – July 27, 2026, The Tempestery Project, Third Floor Gallery. See the one-of-a-kind traveling art exhibit featuring “Tempestries” knit by artisans from across the Hudson Valley. This large-scale community art project depicts climate data from our region from 1895-2025. Each Tempestry (or temperature tapestry) is a knitted scarf-sized wall hanging that shows the daily high temperatures for a specific location and year. Knitters and knitting groups in the Mid-Hudson Library System have worked together to create this traveling exhibit to tell the story of not just climate change, but the history of libraries in the region and the personal histories of the knitters.

Tempestery Reception, July 11, 12:00 to 2:00 pm, meet the artisans, view the Tempestry Project, enjoy light refreshments. Open to the public. Third Floor Gallery.
