The Story:

You are cordially invited to attend the Hidden Council’s Annual Costume Ball!

It is time for the Hidden Councils Annual Costume Ball. This is the social event of the year. The Royalty of the Mage Guild, Were Clans, Vampyr Houses, and Fae Court will be in attendance. As always, when the Immortal Court gathers, you can expect political intrigue, barbed innuendos, backstabbing, and betrayal. So the same as any other day among royalty.
It is whispered that there will be a special meeting of the Hidden Council at this year’s annual Costume Ball to address the recent Watcher murders. Watchers are important to the Immortals and help keep their existence hidden from humanity. The Immortals, in turn, have sworn to protect the Watchers for their service.

Teens must come to the library to sign-up.
All character profiles are located in the FAQ binder at youth services.
Once signed up, teens will need to come in person to get their character packets.
ONCE OPENED TEENS CANNOT CHANGE THEIR CHARACTERS!
Costumes are mandatory, but not of the character (definitely a bonus though).

Grades 8-12
This is an after hours murder mystery event for teens, so rides must arranged for pick-up.
Pick a character and solve the murder!
Win a prize too!
Pizza, snacks, and drinks provided.

** Disclaimer: This is a teen program and as such, parents are asked to wait outside the program space or to pick up their teens when the program is finished.

The library’s policy on children states “children in fifth grade and under shall be accompanied in the building by a responsible adult who must remain with the children at all times.” In other words, children may not be left in the Youth Services area unattended while you attend this program.
