Scammers target older customers because of the size of their assets, their tendency to be more trusting, the likelihood of their being stressed by family, medical and financial problems, and their embarrassment about admitting they’ve been duped.
The objective of this program is to discuss the nature of scams and recognize the warning signs; take appropriate action, and build barriers against scams.
