Hands-on archeology for children in grades 3-6 – Join a Mohonk Preserve environmental educator to explore archaeological artifacts from the Hudson Valley region! Investigate the materials of daily life, including the chronology of projectile points, tools and their function, and reconstructed artifacts. We’ll discuss pestles, awls, hammerstones, spear points, pottery, and more!
