This class will cover the basics of file management on PC computers, including: how to navigate the file explorer, how to find downloaded items, and how to organize your files so that you can find them.

You can bring your own laptop to class or use one of the Learning Lab laptops to practice.

The library’s policy on children states “children in fifth grade and under shall be accompanied in the building by a responsible adult who must remain with the children at all times.”  In other words, children may not be left in the Youth Services area unattended while you attend this program. Thank you for your cooperation.


Getting Started with Google Docs

Google Docs is a free tool for creating documents!  All you need is a Gmail account.  Join us to learn about how to get started using Google Docs.

To participate in class activities you will need to be able to access a Google account/Gmail account.  If you have questions, please contact Emily at 845-628-2009 ext 152 or come to the Learning Lab Drop-in Hours, weekly on Tuesdays 9:30-12, Wednesdays 1-4, and Thursdays 4-7.
