Art Exhibits in the Third Floor Gallery

Mahopac Public Library invites local, regional, emerging, and established professional artists to submit exhibition proposals for the Library’s Third Floor Gallery. Preference is given to work completed within the last three years; artists should bear in mind the need for a consistent and very strong body of work when submitting.

Proposals will be considered for two-dimensional works including painting, graphic arts, photography, fabric art, collage, bas-relief, and digital media. Small three-dimensional pieces that can be accommodated in the Gallery display case will be considered.

The Library is seeking exhibit proposals for September, October, November, and December 2021, and January 2022. Submissions for group and individual artist exhibits are welcome.

The Details

Artists interested in exhibiting at the Library must submit:

• A Mahopac Library Exhibit Application Form
• 6 jpgs, with image list, OR 6 hard copies of the images, OR 6 images submitted on a CD (all images must be identified with the artists’ name, title of work, medium, and dimensions.)
• A Bio/Resume
• An Artist’s statement

Artists who have had a one-person show at the Library within the last two years are not eligible to submit a proposal at this time.
