THE TIME HAS COME!
BATTLE OF THE BOOKS 2026 IS HERE!

The Mid-Hudson Battle of the Books is a regional book trivia competition.
Participating libraries all read the same six books and then prepare for a summers-end book trivia battle.

This information meeting will be in person at the library to:

• Garner interest
• Go over the meeting schedule
• Grab the first books you’ll be reading
• Get a taste of the trivia format (play with the buzzers)
• Enjoy snacks!

***It is requested that a parent/guardian attend this meeting along with the participating student.

This year, the team will be made up of both middle and high schoolers.

The library’s policy on children states “children in fifth grade and under shall be accompanied in the building by a responsible adult who must remain with the children at all times.” In other words, children may not be left in the Youth Services area unattended while you attend this program.
