The American Revolution: Westchester County, the “No-Man’s Land”
December 4th at 6:00pm
Presenter: Jonathan Kruk
Community Room, 3rd floor
During the Revolutionary War, Westchester County became a perilous no-man’s-land. Loyalist raiders known as Cowboys stole cattle to supply the British, while Patriot fighters—called Skinners—launched daring raids to stop them. In full period costume, Master Storyteller Jonathan Kruk captivates audiences with tales of these fierce rival bands and their notorious figures, including the Loyalist James DeLancey and the ruthless Shubal Merrit.
