MPL at Home – Learn a New Skill
January 8th at 10am

With your Mahopac Library card, you have access to many resources at home, including some that may help you tackle that New Year’s Resolution! Whether you want to learn how to knit or a new language, we have a resource for you.

Excel Series
Mondays at 6:30pm, starting January 12th
Learning Lab, 2nd Floor
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a high demand skill in the job market. This series will take you from getting to know the layout of Excel to creating PivotTables!
The class will meet on Mondays 6:30-7:30pm for four weeks:
- 01/12 Part 1: will cover topics such as opening the program, navigation, working with cells, and simple formulas
- 01/19 Part 2: will cover topics such as basic math, using formulas, cell references, and functions
- 01/26 Part 3: will cover topics such as working with data, sorting, filtering, and creating charts
- No class on 02/02
- 02/09 Part 4: will cover topics such as creating and working with PivotTables and using What If analysis tools
This is a hybrid class with an option to participate virtually or in-person.
