Welcome to the 2025 Mid-Hudson Valley Battle of the Books!!!!

What is the Battle of the Books?
Battle of the Books is a system wide competition where teams of teens will read select books throughout the Summer and compete in book trivia against others at the end!

Information:
– This year we will only be running a Middle School team.
– Grades 5-9
– Participants must read the pre-selected books in order to participate.
– Books will be provided to all participants by Coach Amanda.
– If a participant cannot show up for a meeting, please let the coach know!
– Registration required!
– Once registered, you are registered for the whole series.

– Simon Sort of Says by Erin Bow
– Ghosts by Raina Telgemeier

– Choose a team name and make a logo
– Trivia and discussion on half of the book (if time allows)

June 25, 2025 @ 6:00 PM

– Finish First Book
– Book one trivia

July 9, 2025 @ 6:00 PM

– Discuss and trivia on first half of book 2

July 23, 2025 @ 6:00 PM
