Anna Conlan is the Director of the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art at SUNY New Paltz, and the author of Life after the Revolution: Kate Millet’s Art Colony for Women.
Ms. Conlan will discuss the women’s art colony that existed on eighty plus acres (outside Poughkeepsie) – “for over four decades Millett Farm was a dynamic haven where artists facing pervasive sexism and homophobia boldly built a space where they could create community and art together.”
