Directions
From Brewster and Points East:
From Main Street in Brewster the trip is just under ten miles. Follow Route 6 West through Carmel, taking the sharp left to stay on Route 6 at the intersection with Route 52. Follow Route 6 into Mahopac. The library is on the right (north) side just after the traffic light at the East Lake Boulevard intersection.
From Peekskill and Points West:
Main Street in Peekskill becomes Route 6 as you drive east. Stay on Route 6 for approximately 15 miles. You will see the library on your left (north) side, about a block after you go through the traffic light at the main intersection in town.
From Ossining and Points South:
Take the Taconic State Parkway north to the Mahopac/Shrub Oak exit. Go right (east) on Route 6 for about 6 miles. You will see the library on your left (north) side, about a block after you go through the traffic light at the main intersection in town.
From Poughkeepsie and Points North:
Take the Taconic State Parkway south to I-84 East for about 9 miles to exit 18, Route 311. Take a right on Route 311, for about one mile, over the causeway to the traffic light at Route 52. Go left (south) on Route 52, for about 3 miles, and go through Carmel. Route 52 becomes Route 6 at the south end of Carmel. Take Route 6 (by going straight at the traffic light) at the intersection with Route 52. Follow Route 6 into Mahopac. The library is on the right (north) side just after the traffic light at the East Lake Boulevard intersection.
