Spotting Scams!

Register ButtonOctober is Cybersecurity awareness month, and this week we will be talking about spotting scams.  What are scammers looking for? Learn about the clues you can look for to avoid falling into the traps scammers set!

In this workshop you’ll learn about three real-life online scams and familiarize yourself with some of the techniques scammers commonly use to access sensitive information.

Microsoft PowerPoint Series

Mondays at 6:30, October 13th – November 10th

Proficiency in Microsoft Power Point is a high demand skill in the job market.  This series will take you from getting started to creating polished presentations!

This class meets on Mondays 6:30-7:30pm for four weeks:

  • 10/13 Week 1 – slide basics, themes, transitions
  • 10/20 Week 2 – pictures, shapes, arranging objects
  • 10/27 Week 3 – animations, video content, tables, charts, SmartArt
  • No class on 11/03
  • 11/10 Week 4 – slide master view, action buttons, recording your presentation

This is a hybrid class with an option to participate virtually or in-person.

Making Passwords Easy with Password Managers
