Consent and Healthy Relationships

August 21st at 4pm
Third Floor Meeting Room
The program aims to provide parents and caretakers with the tools they need to have ongoing, meaningful, and open-ended conversations about consent with their young person. Parents and caretakers will have the opportunity to identify and define the different components of consent, discuss how they can help their young person understand consent as a requirement for any and all sexual interactions, explore barriers to young people’s ability to practice consent, and identify strategies to becoming an “askable” parent.
