SmartNet is a series of free public programs, hosted by Mahopac Public Library from April through November of 2009. These programs and related materials are designed to inform community members of all ages about knowledgeable use of technology and the Internet.
SmartNet Programs are for family members of all ages. Programs will include classes and presentations on a variety of topics, including social networking sites, how to protect your privacy online, "cyber-bullying," how to conduct research online using reliable sources, and much more.
